Although the construction process has taken many years, the Pillatre Christian Center medical facility was officially opened in October of 2001. Pillatre Christian Center employs a full time Haitian doctor and nursing staff at the clinic to offer care to local residents. A lab and pharmacy are also available. Attached to the clinic is an open 36' by 36' Waiting Area building, which protects patients from the weather and provides an area in which to evangelize them.

	Additionally, doctors who visit Pillatre Christian Center during short term mission trips are able to provide care for local residents free of charge.
