Pillatre Christian Center School
Currently 725 children, ages preschool through sixth grade attend Pillatre Christian Center School. Along with typical educational subjects, the school teaches Christian principles, Bible, and provides a hot lunch every school day. For many of the children it is the only real meal they get all day.
Quality Education
While there are still many differences between American and Haitian schools, the Pillatre Christian Center School is very proud of the quality education the children are getting. PCC has repeatedly been awarded recognition as "Most Outstanding Elementary School in Northern District", with over 20 schools being considered. Student Sponsorship
Haitian Christian Ministries offers a Student Sponsorship Program which supports the children who attend PCC school. When few children in Haiti even have a chance to go to school, to have a quality school like this means that these children will have an opportunity not only for education but also REAL hope.
