Introduction and Welcome...
Eastview
Christian Sportsmen is a special interest group of the Men’s Ministry of
Eastview Christian Church. It is composed of men and their families that
share the common passion of the great outdoors through activities such as
hunting, fishing, sport shooting, archery, camping, canoeing, etc. Its
purpose is to provide opportunities for men and their families
to enjoy
outdoor activities with other sportsmen, to connect with other Godly
sportsmen, to connect with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and
to grow in
one's spiritual walk through these connections.
We are about enjoying God's Creation. Our mission: To encourage and empower sportsmen to discover and develop a deep passion for Jesus Christ in the context of the outdoor adventure.
Purpose of Eastview Christian Sportsmen Adventure Exposition
Eastview Christian Sportsmen was created and organized in order to further the teachings of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ according to His great commission (Matthew 28: 16-20). It is through our love of the outdoors and the love of sportsmanship that we, as Christians, hope to help further the Kingdom of God. Through His grace we strive to reach out to both believers and non-believers alike to teach the Word of God. One of the methods we are using to fulfill this goal is through educational and entertaining expositions such as the one scheduled for June 27-28, 2008 at the campus of Eastview Christian Church in Normal, IL.
